The ADATA HD710 Pro is a portable external hard drive engineered for durability. It provides 1 TB of storage capacity within an enclosure that meets IP68 standards for dust and water resistance, capable of submersion in 2 meters of water for up to 60 minutes. The device also complies with the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 military specification for shock resistance, tested to withstand falls from a height of 1.5 meters. Its chassis is a triple-layered structure composed of a silicone casing, a shock-absorbing buffer, and a plastic shell that houses the internal drive mechanism.

This external drive utilizes a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface for data transfer, with a maximum theoretical rate of 5 Gbit/s. The internal 2.5-inch drive is bus-powered, drawing power directly from the USB port without requiring an external adapter. It incorporates shock vibration sensing technology, which automatically pauses drive activity during an impact to help prevent data errors and bad sectors. The unit is compatible with Windows systems out of the box and can be reformatted for use with macOS. An LED indicator provides visual status updates for power and data transfer.
