The Ubiquiti NanoStation 5AC Loco (NS-5ACL) is an outdoor wireless bridge designed for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links using airMAX ac technology. It operates in the 5 GHz band and offers a maximum throughput of 450 Mbit/s. The device is intended for long-range deployments where Ethernet cabling is impractical, such as bridging remote sites or separate buildings. It uses an integrated antenna to maintain wireless communication via the 802.11ac standard and acts as Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to extend network connectivity across outdoor areas.

The unit features a single Gigabit Ethernet port supporting speeds of 1000 Mbit/s. Power is delivered via Passive PoE, allowing a single cable to carry both data and electricity. The housing is made of UV-stabilised polycarbonate to resist environmental wear. Security is handled by WPA2, and the internal software provides a DHCP server and Quality of Service (QoS) controls for traffic prioritisation. System settings are managed via a web interface.
