The Ubiquiti NanoStation 5AC (NS-5AC) is a 5 GHz radio with an integrated 16 dBi antenna, designed for high-speed wireless bridging. It operates in the 5 GHz band to provide stable data transmission over long distances. The unit functions as a compact outdoor CPE for Point-to-Point (PtP) or Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) links. It supports throughput of up to 450 Mbit/s using proprietary airMAX AC technology. Under optimal conditions, the integrated antenna supports an outdoor range of up to 15 km.

Its UV-resistant polycarbonate housing is designed for prolonged outdoor exposure. The antenna features dual-linear polarization with a 45-degree beam width across both planes. A VSWR of 1.6:1 ensures efficient power transfer, while 20 dB of isolation helps minimise signal interference. Two 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports provide gigabit connectivity. Power is supplied via 24 V Passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) using the included adapter. Mounting kits for poles and walls are included.
