The Ubiquiti UniFi nanoHD is a dual-band wireless access point for high-density indoor environments using the Wi-Fi 5 standard. It operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to support simultaneous connections for multiple users. The device uses 4x4 MU-MIMO technology on the 5 GHz band to maintain efficiency when communicating with several clients at once. Beamforming and mesh support are included to improve signal range and simplify network expansion across larger floor plans. The compact internal antenna design is well-suited for professional environments.

A single Ethernet port provides both data and power. The unit supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), which allows for installation in locations without ready access to power outlets. Designed for discreet placement, the white chassis can be mounted on ceilings or walls to optimise signal distribution. Management is performed through a web-based interface, providing control over guest access, bandwidth allocation, and traffic prioritisation. Security features include enterprise-grade protocols such as WPA-Enterprise and 802.11w Protected Management Frames.
