The StarTech USBUPS06 Smart UPS Replacement USB Cable (USB-A to RJ-45, 1.8 m) connects a computer to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). This cable allows the host system to monitor power data and device status. Operating on the USB 2.0 standard, it is designed for the low-bandwidth requirements of hardware management, supporting data transfer rates up to 480 Mbit/s. The straight connector on the host side fits standard server ports without obstructing adjacent slots.

This cable is a direct replacement for compatible APC Smart-UPS units if the original is lost or damaged. IT administrators use it to maintain oversight of battery backup hardware.
