The ZYXEL GS1200-5HPv2 is a 5-port, managed Gigabit switch designed for desktop use. It features five Gigabit Ethernet ports, each supporting data transfer rates of up to 1 Gbit/s. Four of these ports provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) with a total power budget of 60 W, allowing the device to route both data and power to compatible hardware through a single cable.
The grey, desktop-sized unit sits on flat surfaces and does not require rack mounting. As it is fanless, the switch operates silently, making it suitable for quiet environments such as small offices. It measures 193 x 84 x 26 mm (W x D x H) and weighs 392 g. Front-facing LED indicators display the status of the connection, PoE, and power. A reset button is included for troubleshooting, and the firmware is upgradeable for ongoing maintenance.
