The StarTech JD095CST is a 0.7-metre 10G SFP+ passive twinax direct-attach copper cable designed for point-to-point connections between network devices. It serves as an SFP+ to SFP+ bridge for in-rack server and switch links, supporting data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s in standard 10GbE environments. As a passive direct-attach copper (DAC) cable, it provides a low-latency connection and eliminates the need for separate optical transceivers over short distances.

Installation is simple plug-and-play, requiring no software or configuration. The cable features a flexible PVC jacket to protect the internal wiring.
