The ROLLEI Steady Butler Action Gimbal is a three-axis electronic stabiliser designed to reduce unwanted camera movement during action filming and handheld video recording. It supports several operating modes, including free movement, combined pan-and-tilt movement, and axis locking. An onboard joystick provides direct physical control over camera orientation. For remote operation, a companion app pairs with iOS and Android smartphones. A dedicated time-lapse mode allows users to capture extended sequences over time.

The unit weighs 361 g and features a black housing suited for mobile shooting. A built-in 4,000 mAh lithium-ion battery powers the stabiliser for up to 12 hours and can also supply power to a connected action camera during filming. A 1/4-inch tripod thread integrates with the included mini tripod for stationary recording. Accommodating smartphones in addition to action cameras broadens its utility for mobile video creation.
