The Black Box Freedom II 8-Port KM switch lets one operator manage up to eight computers using a single keyboard and mouse. Featuring USB 2.0 host interfaces and a 3.5 mm audio jack, the device streamlines hardware in multi-monitor setups. It uses "Glide & Switch" technology to change the active channel automatically; moving the cursor across monitor boundaries selects the system, removing the need to switch channels manually during routine work.

The switch is plug-and-play and requires no driver installation. It is compatible with Windows and macOS, and supports Linux environments. Integrated LEDs indicate which computer is currently active.
