DJI Zenmuse X7 Aerial Camera Body Only (Lens Excluded)

The DJI Zenmuse X7 aerial camera body only (lens excluded) is a drone gimbal camera made specifically for the DJI Inspire 2. It pairs a Super 35 CMOS sensor with an integrated three-axis gimbal for stabilised aerial cinematography and photography. The camera records at up to 6016 × 3200 pixels and supports 6K CinemaDNG and 5.2K Apple ProRes workflows. With around 24 MP resolution and 14 stops of dynamic range, it gives plenty of room for detailed post-production work. At 449 g, the body adds a defined payload to the aircraft before a compatible lens is fitted.

The black body measures 151 × 132 × 108 mm, which matters when planning transport and fitted clearances. A DJI DL mount provides the interface for compatible interchangeable lenses. Operating temperatures range from −20 to 40 °C, covering cold-weather to warm-weather shoots. Its intended uses include professional aerial filming, still photography, filmmaking and action capture. Image stabilisation sits in the gimbal, not in the lens.
