Cisco SFP-25G-AOC7M - Active Optical Cable, Blue

The Cisco 25GBASE-AOC SFP28-to-SFP28 active optical cable connects network switches and servers. It uses optical fibre to provide a direct link, avoiding the need for traditional copper cabling. The assembly supports data transfer rates of up to 25,000 Mbit/s. An SFP28 interface at each end fits into compatible cages to complete the physical network connection.

Integrated optics within the module housings form a self-contained communication path, eliminating the need for separate transceivers or external fibre patch cords. This design simplifies physical routing and ensures consistent signal performance between adjacent equipment. The modules connect directly into active network hardware.
