The Aruba AP-514 is a dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point designed for high-density campus environments. It operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to provide wireless connectivity for indoor office spaces. The unit reaches speeds of up to 575 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz frequency and 4800 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. It features an external antenna design with four connectors. The inclusion of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) improves efficiency when multiple devices connect simultaneously. The system supports up to 256 concurrent clients per network segment.

The Aruba AP-514 connects via two Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports, which support Power over Ethernet (PoE). This allows the unit to be ceiling-mounted without the need for local power outlets. A single USB 2.0 port is available for hardware expansion. Security is managed via WMM, WPA, and WPA2 protocols. Management functions are accessible through a web-based interface for remote configuration. The unit features a white housing, a 200 mm square footprint, and weighs 810 grams. An integrated IoT radio provides dedicated support for Bluetooth and Zigbee protocols.
