Cisco C819G+7-K9 - Tabletop router, Black

The Cisco C819G+7-K9 is a tabletop M2M gateway designed for remote cellular networking. The device operates on 3G networks, supporting HSDPA, HSPA+, and HSUPA; it does not support 4G or 5G hardware. It converts cellular signals into local Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) coverage, allowing wireless clients to connect at speeds up to 300 Mbit/s. Integrated Quality of Service (QoS) prioritises critical data traffic over background tasks. A built-in SIM slot provides the necessary mobile broadband connection.

Two detachable external antennas can be repositioned to optimise signal reception and transmission. The rear panel features four 10/100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet ports for wired LAN connectivity. A single USB 2.0 port allows for the connection of peripherals. The router is AC-powered and has a typical power consumption of 11 watts. An integrated firewall, based on the Cisco IOS framework, monitors network traffic. Administrators can configure data protection using encryption algorithms such as 256-bit AES, 3DES, and SSL/TLS. The system also supports DMVPN for secure remote links.
