The ADATA HD650 is a portable external hard drive designed for data storage and transport. It provides 2 TB of capacity within a 2.5-inch form factor, suitable for backing up files, storing media libraries, or moving large datasets between devices. Connectivity is handled through a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, which supports a maximum data transfer rate of 5000 Mbit/s. The internal hard disk drive operates at a speed of 5400 RPM. A built-in LED indicator displays power and data transfer status during operation.

This drive features a multi-layer construction composed of plastic and a shock-absorbing silicone casing to protect against physical impacts. It is equipped with proprietary shock sensors that halt drive platter activity when a shock is detected, which helps prevent errors and bad sectors. The device is bus-powered, drawing electricity directly from the connected USB port without needing an external power adapter. It is compatible with Windows operating systems out of the box and can be reformatted for use with macOS.
