The InFocus IN1188HD is a standard-throw DLP projector designed for business use. Its integrated LED light source has an estimated lifespan of 30,000 hours. The projector outputs a native Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 at a 16:9 aspect ratio. With an output of 3,000 ANSI lumens, the display remains clear under standard indoor lighting. It can project images ranging from 30 to 300 inches at distances between 0.8 and 8 metres. A fixed 1.20:1 throw ratio determines placement. The unit maintains a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, ensuring clear text and graphics.

Connectivity is limited to wired interfaces, as the device lacks Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support. The rear panel features one HDMI 1.4a port, a VGA input, and two USB 2.0 slots for direct media access. Setup controls include manual focus and 40 degrees of vertical keystone correction. Audio is provided by a single internal 3 W RMS speaker. The 2 kg white chassis measures 297.2 mm in width and comes with a fitted carrying case. Internal cooling fans operate at 33 dB during standard use, reducing to 26 dB in economic mode.
