The ZyXEL GS1350-12HP Smart Managed PoE Switch is a Layer 2 networking device for IP surveillance and enterprise data routing. It features 10 Gigabit RJ-45 ports, each supporting a maximum data rate of 1 Gbit/s. Eight of these ports provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power hardware directly via copper cabling. The switch has a total switching capacity of 24 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 17.8 Mpps, allowing it to handle simultaneous traffic from multiple cameras without bottlenecks.

The switch supports standard rack mounting and operates at a noise level of 27.3 dB. Administrators have a total PoE budget of 130 W to power connected equipment. The switch is configured via a web-based interface or a Command Line Interface (CLI), secured by SSH and SSL/TLS. Built-in management features include IGMP snooping, loop protection, and link aggregation to maintain stable data transmission. Two dedicated SFP slots provide fiber uplink connections to the wider network.
