The MikroTik hAP ac lite TC is a dual-band wireless router for concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation. Supporting the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard, it offers a maximum combined wireless data rate of 750 Mbit/s, providing 300 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 433 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. Two internal antennas provide signal coverage for both frequencies. The unit acts as an access point or router and supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac protocols. It connects to the internet via an Ethernet port. Its compact black case can be placed on a desk or wall-mounted.

Wired connections are provided by five 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports. Port five supports passive PoE output, allowing it to power compatible external devices through the network cable. The router is powered via the included DC jack or passive PoE input. A USB 2.0 port allows the connection of external 3G or 4G modems for mobile broadband or backup. Management is handled by RouterOS, which includes tools for VLAN tagging and VPN support. Security features include a firewall, WPA2 encryption, and IP address filtering. Quality of Service (QoS) and bandwidth control allow for traffic management, supported by 64 MB of RAM.
