The ROG Strix Go 2.4 is a wireless gaming headset that connects via a low-latency 2.4 GHz RF USB-C dongle for compatibility with PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. It also includes a 1.2 m 3.5 mm audio cable for wired connections. The audio system is built around 40 mm ASUS Essence neodymium drivers in a closed-back, over-ear design. This configuration provides passive noise isolation. The headset weighs 290 g and is constructed to be a lightweight option for extended use.

For voice communication, the headset is equipped with a detachable, bidirectional boom microphone and an integrated omnidirectional microphone, both of which utilize AI-assisted noise-cancellation technology to reduce background sounds.
