This cooler manages thermal loads up to 250 W TDP, making it suitable for professional workstations and high-performance computing environments. Heat dissipation is handled by an aluminum dual-tower heatsink configuration utilizing seven 6 mm copper heat pipes. The design ensures efficient heat transfer across the entire surface area of the larger Threadripper integrated heat spreader (IHS).

Cooling performance relies on a push-pull setup incorporating two fans configured for optimized airflow. Both cooling units feature Fluid Dynamic Bearings (FDB) designed for reduced operational friction and extended longevity, rated at 300,000 hours MTBF.
