NETGEAR GS108T-300PES - 8-Port Gigabit Managed Switch, Grey

The NETGEAR GS108T-300PES is an 8-port Gigabit Smart Managed Pro switch that provides Layer 2 network connectivity and control. It includes eight Gigabit RJ-45 ports for connecting devices such as workstations, access points, and network storage. With a 16 Gbit/s switching capacity, the device manages simultaneous traffic across all ports. This non-PoE model uses an 8,000-entry MAC address table for packet forwarding.

For traffic management, the switch uses Quality of Service (QoS) protocols and access control lists to prioritise data. Security features include 802.1X RADIUS authentication and MAC address filtering to regulate individual endpoint connections. The grey chassis measures 158 by 101 by 27 millimetres and is designed for desktop use. At peak load, the unit consumes a maximum of 5.5 W. Administrators can monitor and configure the system via SNMP or standard HTTP and HTTPS web interfaces.
