Ubiquiti GigaBeam (GBE) - Wireless Bridge, White

The Ubiquiti GigaBeam is a wireless bridge for high-capacity, point-to-point links. It operates on the 60 GHz band for short-range, line-of-sight connectivity, reaching a maximum throughput of 1,000 Mbit/s. A secondary 5 GHz radio provides failover to maintain the connection if the 60 GHz link is obstructed. The system uses airMAX AC and 802.11ac protocols to manage traffic. This combination of high-frequency throughput and redundancy allows for the extension of network infrastructure without physical cabling.

Data connectivity is provided via a single Gigabit Ethernet port. The unit supports passive Power over Ethernet (PoE), which delivers both data and power through one cable. Its UV-resistant polycarbonate housing is designed for outdoor pole mounting. Wireless transmissions are secured using WPA2 AES encryption. The device features a web-based interface for configuration and monitoring, along with a dedicated radio for local setup. It is equipped with 256 MB of memory.
