The Fractal Design Venturi HP-12 PWM is a 120 mm fan engineered for environments with restricted airflow, such as dense heatsinks, radiators, or cases with dust filters. Its design focuses on generating high static pressure, which is necessary to push air effectively through these obstructions. This makes it a suitable component for liquid cooling systems or large air coolers where standard airflow-focused fans may be less effective. The fan measures 120 x 120 x 25 mm, conforming to a common size standard for broad compatibility with most PC cases and coolers.

This fan connects via a 4-pin header, enabling Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) for precise speed control through the motherboard or a dedicated controller. Its operational speed ranges from 400 RPM for quiet operation to a maximum of 1800 RPM for higher cooling performance. It is constructed with a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) to support long-term reliability and reduce operational noise, which ranges from 10 dB to 31.7 dB depending on the fan speed.
