The TP-Link TL-PA7017P KIT AV1000 Gigabit Passthrough Powerline Starter Kit creates a wired network connection using existing electrical wiring. This kit includes two adapters compliant with the HomePlug AV2 standard, supporting data transfer rates of up to 1000 Mbit/s. Each unit features a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting devices such as smart TVs or game consoles. An integrated power socket allows the wall outlet to remain available for other appliances. This model provides wired connectivity only and does not include wireless access point functionality.

Setup is straightforward; the plug-and-play design requires no software installation or complex configuration. Security is managed via a physical pair button that activates 128-bit AES encryption to protect the network. These compact units measure 58 mm wide and 95 mm high. Three front-facing LED indicators show the status of power, powerline connectivity, and Ethernet activity. The exterior is finished in neutral white plastic to match common electrical fittings.
