The Ubiquiti LTU-LR Long-Range 5 GHz CPE is a folding reflective dish antenna designed for fixed wireless networks. It provides a maximum gain of 26 dBi for point-to-multipoint or point-to-point links. Intended for outdoor use, the unit functions as a client radio for broadband services. It uses proprietary LTU technology—rather than standard Wi-Fi protocols—to achieve throughput rates of 900 Mbit/s. Connectivity is maintained over distances up to 30 km, depending on environmental conditions and alignment. Operators can configure the link using flexible channel bandwidths up to 50 MHz.

The housing is made of UV-stabilised plastic to withstand long-term sun exposure. The unit has a rated survival wind speed of up to 200 km/h. Data connectivity is provided via a 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet port. The assembly weighs 1360 g and measures 512.5 x 385.75 x 258.3 mm. The 317 mm antenna diameter within the folding dish design focuses signal transmission.
