The DELTACO e-Charge Mode 3 charging cable (Type 2 to Type 2, 1-phase, 16 A, 5 m) connects an electric vehicle to a wallbox or public charging station. This cable supports single-phase power delivery with a maximum current of 16 A, providing up to 3.6 kW to the vehicle battery. The 5-metre length is sufficient for most driveway parking layouts. Both ends feature angled Type 2 connectors—a female plug for the car inlet and a male plug for the charging station. The angled design helps route the cable downwards, reducing mechanical stress on the ports. The cable is compatible with electric vehicles and stations equipped with Type 2 connections, including models from Audi, BMW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, and Volvo.

The 5-metre cable has a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket, which remains flexible while resisting oil, wear, and UV exposure. This durable construction is suitable for regular outdoor use. The connectors lock into the vehicle and wallbox sockets to prevent accidental unplugging during a charging session. The cable complies with EU regulations for Mode 3 conductive charging equipment.
