The DELTACO e-Charge EV-1225 (Schuko CEE 7/7 to Type 2, 10–16A, 3.6kW, 5m) connects electric vehicles directly to domestic sockets. This Mode 2 (EV07EE-H) cable allows for charging from a standard grounded wall outlet without the need for a dedicated wallbox. The 5-metre length is suitable for standard driveway or garage use. The unit operates on a single-phase connection with an adjustable current of 10 to 16 amps, delivering up to 3.6 kW of power depending on the wall outlet’s capacity. It features a male Schuko (CEE 7/7) plug for grid access and a female Type 2 connector for the vehicle, making it compatible with all electric vehicles equipped with a standard Type 2 inlet.

The cable is encased in a flexible TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) jacket designed for outdoor durability. This material resists motor oil, physical abrasion, and continuous UV exposure. Essential safety mechanisms are integrated into the cable housing, including a Type A residual current device (RCD) that monitors electrical flow and interrupts the circuit if it detects a ground fault. These safeguards are standard requirements for safe, continuous charging via a domestic mains supply.
