It installs into any standard SFP+ interface to enable communication between servers, switches, and routers. This module meets the IEEE 802.3ae standard for 10GBASE-SR applications and supports Ethernet data rates of 10,000 Mbit/s.
This module is compatible with networking hardware featuring HPE-compliant SFP+ slots. It features an aluminium housing and has a typical power consumption of 1.3 W. Integrated Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) allows host equipment to track real-time operational parameters. This module is designed for multimode fibre only and does not support single-mode fibre (SMF) infrastructure.
