The Zyxel GS1900-24EP is a 24-port GbE L2 smart managed PoE switch (130 W) for segmenting and managing data in corporate local area networks. This model features 24 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports for connecting computers, storage arrays, and other network devices. It offers a total switching capacity of 48 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 35.7 Mpps to maintain performance under load. Its non-blocking architecture forwards traffic without creating data bottlenecks. Twelve of these ports provide power directly to endpoints, reducing the need for local power adapters.

Housed in a black, rack-mountable chassis, the unit fits standard equipment racks and operates at 26 dB. Twelve ports support Power over Ethernet with a total power budget of 130 W to run hardware such as IP cameras and access points. Administrators can use tagged and voice VLANs to separate logical networks. Built-in Quality of Service (QoS) protocols prioritize time-sensitive traffic such as VoIP and video streams. Network security is managed through MAC address filtering and 802.1x RADIUS authentication.
