The TP-Link Omada EAP230-Wall is a dual-band, wall-plate access point designed for installation in standard wall junction boxes. Operating on the Wi-Fi 5 standard, the device supports simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. It provides a maximum combined wireless speed of 1167 Mbit/s: 300 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band. Integrated MU-MIMO and beamforming optimize data transmission for multiple connected clients. Its compact design is intended for environments requiring individual room coverage, such as hotels or offices.

A single Gigabit Ethernet port provides wired connectivity. Power is supplied exclusively via Power over Ethernet (PoE), removing the need for external power supplies. Security protocols include WPA2-Enterprise and WPA2-PSK. Administrators can manage the device via a web-based interface or the Omada centralized platform. The unit measures 86.8 mm wide with a 30.2 mm profile for flush mounting. A physical reset button and upgradeable firmware support ongoing maintenance.
