The TP-Link CPE710 is an outdoor wireless access point designed for 5 GHz point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links. It uses the Wi-Fi 5 standard to deliver wireless data transfer rates of up to 867 Mbit/s. A built-in 23 dBi high-gain directional antenna with a Cassegrain design focuses signal transmission over long distances. The device uses beamforming technology to improve link stability in outdoor environments. It operates across the 5.15 to 5.85 GHz frequency range to establish stable wireless bridges where cabling is not feasible.

A single shielded Gigabit Ethernet port provides connectivity, supporting 10/100/1000 Mbit/s speeds. The device is powered by passive Power over Ethernet, which allows for simplified pole mounting by using a single cable for both data and power.
