QNAP QSW-M2108-2S - Managed Switch, Grey

The QNAP QSW-M2108-2S is a Layer 2 web-managed switch with eight 2.5GbE RJ45 ports and two 10G SFP+ uplink slots for connecting to core servers or network storage. The device provides a total switching capacity of 80 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 40 Mpps. By omitting Power over Ethernet (PoE), the switch provides a straightforward path for upgrading local network infrastructure to multi-gigabit speeds.

Administrators configure the switch via the built-in web interface or the integrated RJ-45 console port. Traffic segmentation and security are managed through 802.1Q tagged VLANs and access control lists. To maintain stable performance under load, the device includes quality of service (QoS) controls and spanning tree protocols. The system features active cooling with a single internal fan and draws a maximum of 23 watts. Designed for desktop use, the grey chassis is suited for standard office environments.
