Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box, Black

The Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box connects home entertainment hardware with smart lighting. The device analyzes video signals from connected media players to synchronize compatible lamps with on-screen colours. It supports up to four HDMI sources and automatically switches to the active input. The unit handles high-resolution video, including 4K, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, without altering the television output. Users manage settings and modes via the Philips Hue app.

Housed in black metal and plastic, the unit fits into standard media setups alongside game consoles and streaming devices. It connects to the mains for power. As no remote control is included, input switching relies on automatic signal detection or the mobile app. The hardware acts as a processor and requires existing compatible bulbs to produce lighting effects.
