The GREENCELL EV16 Type 2 to Schuko Charging Cable is a portable charging option for electric vehicles and compatible plug-in hybrids. It lets owners charge directly from a standard household socket. One end has a Schuko male plug; the other is a Type 2 male plug that connects to the vehicle's charging inlet. At 5.5 metres, the lead provides enough reach for most domestic parking spaces and allows AC charging without a permanent wallbox.

A selector on the control module lets the user set the current draw between 10 A and 16 A to match the local circuit. The black finish blends in with most vehicle trim and dark outdoor surfaces. The cable is compatible with many popular electric vehicles, including fully electric models such as the Tesla Model 3, Hyundai IONIQ Electric, and Audi e-tron, as well as plug-in hybrids like the BMW i8, Mercedes C350e, and Volvo XC90 PHEV.
