The TP-Link Deco X20 is a dual-band mesh system utilizing the 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) standard. It delivers a maximum combined Wi-Fi speed of 1800 Mbit/s, offering up to 1201 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band. This 2-pack kit covers up to 370 m² and supports up to 150 devices. Integration of MU-MIMO, beamforming, and Intelligent Mesh technology ensures consistent throughput and signal stability across the entire coverage area.
Each unit provides two Gigabit Ethernet ports for WAN or LAN connections. Security is managed through WPA3 encryption, a built-in firewall, and parental controls with user profiles and time limits. The system supports Quality of Service (QoS) for bandwidth prioritization and is managed via web-based tools. The hardware consists of four internal antennas housed in a desktop chassis measuring 110 mm by 114 mm. Each unit includes an AC adapter and an RJ45 cable for deployment.
