Noctua NH-U12S Redux, 120 mm CPU Cooler, Grey

The Noctua NH-U12S Redux is a performance-focused single-tower air cooler designed for mainstream desktop processors requiring stable thermal management. Heat transfer relies on a nickel-plated copper base linked to four 6mm nickel-plated copper heat pipes. These pipes distribute the thermal load across an array of aluminum fins, optimizing the surface area for heat dissipation. The slim 71mm depth of the heatsink structure is engineered to maximize compatibility and minimize obstruction of adjacent system components, such as RAM modules.

Thermal exchange is maintained by a single 120mm fan utilizing an SSO bearing structure, engineered for operational longevity. Fan speeds are dynamically controlled via a 4-pin PWM connection, ranging from a minimum of 450 RPM up to a maximum of 1700 RPM. This configuration enables a maximum airflow of 120.2 m³/h while registering a maximum noise output of 25.1 dB. The cooler provides broad platform compatibility, including mounting hardware necessary to support current Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5 sockets.
