Aruba 560EX Series - Hazardous Location Wireless Access Point, White

The Aruba 560EX is a dual-radio access point for hazardous outdoor environments, such as industrial sites and mines. It uses the 802.11ax standard to manage wireless traffic across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. Integrated Bluetooth 5 and Zigbee radios allow the unit to act as an IoT gateway for device discovery and sensor connectivity. The device holds Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 certifications for safe operation in volatile areas. Internal antennas provide signal coverage while maintaining the seal of the enclosure.

The unit connects to the network via a dedicated RJ45 port. It is designed for locations where local AC power is unavailable, relying instead on Power over Ethernet (PoE). Wireless security features include protection for open networks and enterprise-level encryption. Traffic management uses dynamic segmentation to isolate user groups and enforce security policies.
