TP-Link TL-PA7017P - Powerline adapter

The TP-Link TL-PA7017P AV1000 Gigabit Passthrough Powerline Adapter uses your home's existing electrical wiring via the HomePlug AV2 standard to extend your network. It provides a single Gigabit Ethernet port capable of speeds up to 1,000 Mbit/s, making it suitable for high-bandwidth tasks such as HD video streaming and online gaming. Note that although this device is sometimes grouped with Power-over-Ethernet equipment, it does not supply power to connected devices. It plugs directly into a standard wall socket.

The adapter features a passthrough power socket, leaving your wall outlet free for other appliances. It is a plug-and-play device, so no manual configuration is required. Data transmitted over the electrical circuit is secured with 128-bit AES encryption, and the adapter supports an operating range of up to 300 metres. The unit is compatible with any other adapter that follows HomePlug AV or HomePlug AV2 specifications.
