TP-Link TL-SX1008 - 8-port 10G unmanaged switch, black

The TP-Link TL-SX1008 is an 8-port 10G unmanaged switch that expands wired network capacity without the need for configuration. It is a plug-and-play Layer 2 device designed for immediate deployment. The switch features eight RJ45 Ethernet ports, with each port supporting speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s, making it suitable for high-throughput hardware such as NAS arrays and workstations. It is backwards compatible with 100 Mbps and 1000 Mbps devices. Auto-negotiation automatically selects the optimal bandwidth for each connected device. As an unmanaged switch, it relies on hardware-based forwarding to handle traffic.

The rack-mountable chassis fits a standard 1U space. Measuring 294 x 180 x 44 mm and weighing 2070 g, the unit can be placed on a desk or mounted in a rack. A built-in fan provides active cooling to maintain operating temperatures, while front-facing LEDs indicate the status of each network connection. The unit draws a maximum of 28.4 W, and an AC power cable is included.
