The Shadow Rock Slim 2 is a single-tower air cooling solution engineered for processors with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) up to 160 W. Its design prioritizes component clearance, featuring a depth of 74 mm and a height of 161 mm to minimize interference with surrounding memory modules and case panels. Heat is transferred from the CPU via a copper base plate and managed by four high-performance copper heat pipes, each measuring 6 mm in diameter. The heat energy is then rapidly dissipated across the densely stacked aluminium fins of the heatsink assembly.

Airflow across the cooling structure is provided by a single 135 mm fan utilizing a rifle bearing for enhanced operational longevity and reliability, rated for 80,000 hours of use. The fan supports Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) to dynamically adjust speed according to current thermal demands, operating up to 1400 RPM. This unit delivers quiet performance, registering a minimum noise level of 11.5 dB and peaking at 23.7 dB under maximum load. Broad mounting support is included for modern platforms such as Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5/AM4 sockets.
