The Google Nest Cam with Floodlight is an outdoor security camera that provides both surveillance and lighting. This model captures 1080p video at 30 frames per second using a 1/2.8-inch sensor. It connects via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and does not support a wired Ethernet connection. For low-light recording, the camera includes a night vision mode that provides visibility up to 6 metres. Its 130-degree field of view is designed to monitor areas such as driveways or gardens.

Designed for permanent outdoor installation, the camera has an IP54 weatherproofing rating to protect against dust and splashing water. Its components operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -20°C to 40°C. The camera requires a standard 220–240V AC mains connection to function. Its motion detection distinguishes between people, animals, and vehicles to help reduce false alerts. An integrated microphone and speaker allow for two-way audio, and the device is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
