The Fractal Design Torrent is a mid-tower case engineered for high-volume airflow. Its design utilizes an unobstructed front grille and includes two pre-installed 180 mm PWM fans to facilitate substantial air intake. The internal component layout places the ATX power supply in a dedicated shroud at the top of the chassis. This configuration frees the case floor, allowing for an unobstructed path for cool air and providing mounting locations for additional fans or a large radiator.

This chassis provides broad compatibility for a range of system builds, supporting motherboards from Mini-ITX up to E-ATX and SSI-CEB standards. Generous internal dimensions accommodate CPU air coolers up to 188 mm in height and power supplies up to 230 mm in length within the top-mounted compartment. The case is constructed from a steel frame and features a clear tint tempered glass side panel. For storage, the enclosure includes dedicated mounts for two 3.5-inch drives and four 2.5-inch drives.
