The DeepCool Matrexx 55 V3 is a mid-tower ATX case constructed with an SPCC steel frame, ABS plastic components, and dual 4mm tempered glass panels on the front and side. This design provides a clear view of internal components and the included addressable RGB lighting. The chassis accommodates a wide range of motherboard form factors, including E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX. For storage, it provides dedicated mounting locations for both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives within a combination cage and separate mounts.

This case is configured for airflow with three pre-installed 120mm addressable RGB fans at the front intake. Additional cooling can be installed, with support for up to a 360mm radiator in the front, a 240mm radiator on top, and a 120mm radiator at the rear. Component clearances allow for a CPU cooler height of up to 160mm and a standard ATX power supply with a maximum length of 170mm. The front I/O panel includes one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, and a combination audio/microphone jack for peripheral connectivity.
