The Synology DS3622xs+ is a 12-bay desktop NAS for centralized data management in home offices and small businesses. It is sold as a diskless system, supporting up to 12 SATA hard drives or SSDs in 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch formats. It runs on an Intel Xeon D-1531 six-core processor (2.2 GHz base, 2.7 GHz boost) with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. The system supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD configurations. The hardware is built for file sharing, multi-user access, and network services, with hot-swappable drive bays that allow for maintenance without system downtime.
