Bosch GHO 6500 Professional Planer

The Bosch GHO 6500 Professional planer is a corded wood planer with an 82 mm planing width. Its 650 W motor drives the cutter head for controlled material removal across timber surfaces. Boards within the rated width can be covered in a single pass. The planer is intended for professional woodworking, renovation, carpentry and workshop use. Typical applications include levelling rough stock, fitting components and finishing prepared timber.

Power comes from an AC mains connection, making the tool suited to repeated work near a fixed supply. An optimised airflow system directs loose wood chips away during operation. The cutting-depth mechanism can be adjusted to suit heavier levelling or lighter finishing passes. Black, blue and metallic exterior components give the tool a conventional Bosch Professional appearance. Its capabilities also cover edge work where a defined shoulder or step is required.
