Bosch GHO 12V-20 Professional Cordless Planer

The Bosch GHO 12V-20 Professional Cordless Planer is a compact woodworking tool with a maximum planing width of 56 mm. It is intended for smoothing wooden surfaces, trimming edges, and making controlled adjustments to door components. The cutter runs at an idle speed of up to 14,500 RPM. A maximum planing depth of 2 mm allows that amount of material to be removed in one pass. Its battery-powered format avoids a trailing mains cable when working around fitted joinery or away from a socket.

A brushless EC motor drives the planer within its compact form factor. The body is shaped to support controlled use in different working positions. The optimised balance and a soft-grip handle make the tool suitable for one-handed operation where the workpiece and access allow it. An integrated dust-extraction port connects the planer to a suitable extraction system for managing wood shavings.
