The Makita PowerPack 198116-4 18V LXT 2 x 6.0Ah Battery and Charger Set powers Makita LXT cordless tools. The set includes two BL1860B lithium-ion batteries, each rated at 18 V and 6.0 Ah. The cells maintain consistent output throughout the discharge cycle. The batteries are compatible with the Makita 18V LXT range, allowing packs to be swapped between tools. A rapid charger is included for recharging depleted batteries. Two batteries allow continuous work: one charges while the other powers the tool.

The DC18RC charger runs on standard mains power. Internal circuitry protects the cells from overload. It also prevents over-discharge, extending battery life.
