The Makita 5143R Corded Circular Saw, 2200 W, 355 mm is built for heavy-duty woodworking, timber cutting and construction work. It draws 2200 W from an AC mains supply, driving a 355 mm blade at up to 2700 RPM. The saw delivers a maximum cutting depth of 130 mm at 90° and 90 mm at 45°. It is designed to cut wood, timber and metal substrates. The soft-start function brings the blade up to speed gradually.

The saw features a durable aluminium base plate suited to demanding job-site conditions. An integrated bevel adjustment allows angled cuts up to 60°.
