Makita 9031 30 mm Belt Sander

Makita 9031 30 mm Belt Sander is a corded belt sander intended for precision finishing, deburring and sanding in narrow or restricted spaces. Its compact format suits edges, gaps and confined surfaces where a conventional belt sander may be too large. A 550 W input motor drives the sanding belt for controlled material removal across various materials. Belt speed is adjustable from 200 to 1,000 m/min to suit different tasks and surface requirements. Lower settings support measured finishing, while higher settings provide a faster sanding action.

The built-in dust-extraction port allows connection to a suitable external extraction system. Its compact body weighs 2.1 kg, supporting manoeuvrability when working around restricted areas. A soft-grip surface and ergonomic design are combined with an adjustable auxiliary side handle for added control. The belt sander accepts 30 x 533 mm sanding belts, giving it a narrow working area for detailed applications. One sanding sheet is supplied, so the tool includes media for initial use.
