The Makita 125 mm Corded Angle Grinder is intended for grinding, cutting, and surface-finishing work in workshops, construction, and metalworking settings. Its 1,400 W input and 12,000 RPM maximum no-load speed suit demanding material-removal and cutting tasks. The mains-powered design provides continuous operation without battery charging or runtime limits. Speed can be adjusted from 2,800 to 12,000 RPM to match different materials, accessories, and applications. This range also supports lower-speed surface-finishing work as well as high-speed grinding and cutting.

The grinder weighs 2.2 kg, an important handling consideration for prolonged or overhead work.
