The DEWALT 18V XR Brushless Hammer Drill with TSTAK Case is a cordless hammer drill intended for construction, installation, renovation and maintenance work. Its 18V battery requirement is the main compatibility consideration when selecting a power source. The brushless motor delivers up to 95 N⋅m of torque for demanding drilling and screwdriving applications. Maximum hole capacity is 55 mm in wood, 15 mm in steel and 16 mm in concrete. These material ratings define its working range without relying on a mains supply.

At 1.6 kg, the drill combines a pistol-grip layout, soft-grip handle and auxiliary handle for controlled handling. Its keyless chuck accepts 1.5–13 mm bits, while an automatic spindle lock supports bit changes. The three-speed all-metal transmission runs at 450, 1,300 or 2,000 RPM, with variable-speed control for matching pace to the material. A three-mode LED provides illumination in dim work areas and can function as a spotlight. This bare-tool package includes neither a battery nor a charger, but it does supply a TSTAK carrying case.
